Vermont children's book author Natalie Kinsey will show participants how to do historical research based on their own family stories. She will cover topics on genealogy, primary and secondary sources, artifacts, census records, old photographys, online websites and resources. Participants will then pick a person from their own family history (or a local historical person) to research, using at least 3 tools of research, and then do a culminating project such as a poster, scrapbook, Powerpoint presentation, or any other project of the participant’s choosing. This program is open to ages 8 years to adult.
