Library Access

With the arrival of warmer weather, the library is making changes to our masking requirement.  We no longer require masks inside the library building. Instead, the library will operate with doors and windows open to allow for greatest airflow, and patrons will not be required to wear a mask.  Staff will continue to mask during open hours.

Why are we making this change now?  We have been monitoring air quality, and when we are able to have our doors and windows open, our air quality is equal to an outdoor environment.  We will continue to monitor the library’s air quality, and ensure that our airflow is within the range of an outdoor environment, which has shown to be an effective deterrent to Covid-19 transmission.

Foyer service will still be available for any patrons who prefer not to enter the library.  Foyer service can be arranged by calling 802-586-9683 or emailing librarian@craftsburypubliclibrary.org.

Remote Working: Our remote working room is available by reservation or by chance.
